🔆 Solar Electrician – Fully Qualified Electrician
Location: Essex but will involve travelling to our site in Devon a few times a month. All travel paid and covered.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience + benefits £45,000

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a fully qualified electrician with a strong interest in solar energy to join our expanding team.
The Role
As a Solar Electrician, you’ll be responsible for the electrical installation and commissioning of solar PV systems, battery storage, and associated equipment. You’ll work closely with our project managers and installation teams to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities

Install and connect solar PV and battery storage systems

Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning

Diagnose and repair electrical faults in solar installations

Ensure compliance with current wiring regulations and health & safety requirements

Maintain accurate installation and test records

Deliver exceptional service to customers and represent the company professionally
Requirements
✅ Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
✅ 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and Inspection & Testing.
✅ Full UK driving licence
✅ ECS / CSCS card (preferred)
✅ Experience with solar PV and/or battery storage systems (desirable but not essential – training can be provided)
✅ Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and customer focus
