We’re Hiring: Service & Installation Engineer
Hours: 45 hours per week (including travel time)
Pay: £18–£22 per hour + overtime
Holiday: 28 days (including Bank Holidays) with the option to gain extra holidays

About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Service & Installation Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on, field-based role where no two days are the same—perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering high-quality service.
You’ll be responsible for:
Diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and replacing components
Delivering service, maintenance, and installation projects
Fault finding, testing, and servicing electromechanical systems
Producing accurate and timely job reports
Ensuring excellent customer satisfaction on every visit
Collaborating with internal teams to meet deadlines and quality standards
Managing van stock and maintaining your vehicle
Completing documentation and timesheets accurately
Following all Health & Safety and compliance requirements
Travel is part of the role, and occasional overnight stays may be required.
What We’re Looking For:
Highly organised with strong time management skills
Methodical and detail-oriented, especially when fault-finding
Proactive and able to solve problems independently
Self-motivated with the ability to work to deadlines
A strong communicator, confident working with customers and colleagues
A team player with a flexible approach
Qualifications & Experience:
Electrical certification (17th/18th Edition preferred)
City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
Experience within the gate & barrier industry
Knowledge of access control systems
Additional Requirements:
Flexibility
Weekend work on a rota basis
Availability for installation projects as required
