Security Systems Designer
Full-time, Permanent
£35,000 – £50,000 | Wiltshire | On-site / Hybrid
About the Role
We are a growing systems integration business delivering electronic solutions across commercial, industrial, and public sector environments. We are looking for a Security Systems Designer to produce detailed technical designs from survey stage through to project handover.
Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients, you will ensure all designs are technically accurate, commercially viable, and compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out site surveys and risk assessments
Produce CAD drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
Prepare bills of materials and tender submissions
Support installation teams and project managers with technical queries
Attend client meetings and technical reviews
Ensure designs meet relevant British Standards
Requirements
Essential
Experience designing electronic security or integrated systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
Strong knowledge of access control, intruder, and integrated systems
Excellent communication skills
Full UK driving licence
Desirable
Experience with Revit, BIM, or NavisWorks
Knowledge of NSI or SSAIB standards
Public sector or infrastructure project experience
