Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for a progressive role? As a Registered Manager you will receive a competitive basic salary up to £40,000 plus benefits including bonus, uniform, holiday pay, pension, employee health and wellbeing and many more benefits.
Registered Managers will be responsible for:
- The day-to-day running of their home, the staff team and ensuring that the needs of the young people are always met. Which means ensuring that the children and young people are in safe and comfortable environment.
- As Registered Manager, they will deliver services which are fully compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- They are responsible for the effective development and delivery of high-quality residential services to children young people and their families which improve outcomes.
- They will lead and manage the staff team, ensuring that team members work effectively with children, young people, families and all internal and partner agency staff. The Registered Manager will carry out their statutory duties as determined, principally in relevant childcare legislation, children’s homes regulations and standards.
- They will also ensure that all services are planned and delivered in a way that maximises participation and reflects children’s rights in relation to services being provided.
- Take overall responsibility for all staff, delegating effectively and appropriately. This includes considering and managing labour costs, staffing structures and rota’s, ensuring they meet requirements of the children’s needs.
- To develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with partner agencies and clinical teams to ensure individual assessment plans and support packages are achievable and adhered to.
- To have overall responsibility for the budget within the home, both for the daily running of the home and individual budgets for the young people.
- To adhere to the Company policy and procedure on recruitment and the management of HR issues effectively.
- Ensure that the provisions function in such a manner that staff, and children understand, recognise and celebrate the diversity of cultures and beliefs within the local and wider community.
We are keen to hear from Registered Managers with the following experience:
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management / RMA or equivalent
- Experience as a CQC Registered Manager for a similar setting
- Background of working with Complex Learning Disabilities or Prader Willi-Syndrome
Knowledge of the Care Quality Commission standards
- A role model, providing exemplary support and advice to promote good practice
- Exceptional communicator, team player, empathetic and excellent people skills
