We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on the commercial management of our Lightning Protection projects in Nottingham.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have solid knowledge of JCT, NEC or bespoke contracts, this could be your next big move.
✨ What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll own the commercial lifecycle of each project—from first steps to final payment:
🔹 Contract Management: Lead communication, compliance, and administration across JCT/NEC and other contract types.
🔹 Risk Management: Work closely with Project Managers to identify, manage, and reduce financial or contractual risks.
🔹 Cost & Compliance: Ensure accurate measurement, costing, and commercial reporting throughout.
💡 What You’ll Bring
No lightning protection experience? No problem—full sector training provided. What matters most is your QS foundation and attitude.
✔️ Minimum 1 year of Quantity Surveying experience
✔️ Strong measurement and practical commercial skills
✔️ Confident understanding of contract details and project finance
✔️ Comfortable working with spreadsheets and analysing cost changes
✔️ Hold (or be willing to obtain) a CSCS card
