Are you an experienced HR officer / HR Advisor looking for a progressive opportunity? This is an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join a welcoming team based in Warrington. The successful candidate will provide support to the Group in HR Administration, Recruitment, and general HR activities. As a HR Advisor, you will receive a basic salary up to £30,000, Company pension, Gym Membership, Health & wellbeing programme, Life insurance, Company events, Free parking and many more benefits.
As a HR Advisor you will be:
Responding to general queries received by HR.
Changes to contracts, such as job titles or changes to hours worked.
Recruitment screening and reference checks, starting and assisting with interviewing candidates
Support hiring managers with on-boarding, ensuring all references are obtained prior to staff
Maintenance of the HR software – People HR
Employee life-cycle maintenance including adding new starters onto various systems and issuing contracts and processing leavers.
Provide HR advice and guidance to employees and front line managers
Auditing and maintaining personnel files for compliance matters
Resolution of people management issues in line with company policy, employment law and best practice.
Support Line managers with attendance and performance issues and performance plan maintenance.
Attend disciplinary meetings and preparing invites and outcome paperwork
Preparing statistics on staff turnover etc for board meetings
We are keen to speak with HR Advisors with:
Proven experience working as a HR Advisor
The ability to think and work in a practical and commercial way in HR matters.
Excellent organisation skills and proven ability to multitask, the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders around the business.
CIPD Level 3 or higher is desirable as is experience in business services, customer services and related sectors.
