As Head Of Fire Risk Assessments, you will be:
- Responsible for the overall business performance from its services, growth of a team and the ongoing growth proposition to the markets we serve.
- The focus of our service is to secure reoccurring annual revenue through offering a contracted service, supported by a reliable and trustworthy service whilst maintaining a high level of competency. This is key to helping build our pipeline of employed and sub-contract FRA’s.
• Overall accountability for sales and business performance and development of sales opportunities
• Negotiating on price, costs, delivery, and specifications with customers.
• Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.
• Prospecting customers on sales opportunities to provide FRA’S.
• Creating proposal documents for quotes, occasionally as part of a formal bidding process and when required
• Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets,
• Liaise with clients on progress of national account delivery.
• Work closely with the BD Director on sales growth, delivery, and business plans/objectives.
• Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements,
• Feeding future buying trends, competitor information etc. back to the company,
• Working with the wider group for sales opportunities that is mutually beneficial for all.
• Select and manage sub-contractors ensuring customer and industry requirements are satisfied.
• Prepare and review weekly reports to show operational productivity, employed & sub-contractor performance, revenue generated and invoice of works.
• Ensure prompt and effective communication is made with customers to ensure customer concerns and complaints are dealt with.
• Lead the business in achieving industry accreditations.
• Hire in line with the business plan for FRA’s (Employed).
• Support the admin function to ensure scheduling of FRA’s maximises productivity.
• Any other duties as requested by the Board within reason and related to the business.
• Ensure that growth and operates profitably in budget/business plan.
• Ensure net profit and turnover is achieved.
• Build and develop a pipeline of WON sales.
• Build a customer database or reoccurring contracts.
• Achieve and retain all required accreditations.
• Enhance the reputation to establish a strong foothold and market presence in the sectors we serve.
• To build and manage a small but high productive team.
