The Role:
As a Fire & Security Small Works & Reactive Engineer, you’ll work on a variety of projects across multiple disciplines, supporting our service and maintenance contracts. Clients include pharmacy chains, cinema groups, care homes, and residential properties.
We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, approachable, and a true team player. You’ll enjoy working with innovative systems and products, demonstrating your expertise, and maintaining high standards in everything you do. Strong fault-finding skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a trustworthy, professional approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out small works and remedial tasks to a high standard
• Perform routine maintenance and basic commissioning
• Troubleshoot and fault-find using systematic processes
• Complete detailed job reports
• Collaborate and assist other team members as needed
• Communicate daily with the service team
• Contribute ideas for company improvements

Location & Hours:
• Primarily Northwest and surrounding areas
• Occasional travel or overnight stays (limited, at engineer’s discretion)

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years fire alarm experience
• Minimum 1 year security systems experience
