Are you an experienced Fire & Security Engineer seeking a progressive role? You will be joining a nationwide electrical contractor that works throughout the commercial and industrial sectors, specialising in the dental industry, automotive repair centres and retail store fit outs. They are looking for a Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team. The role is ideal for an experienced installer/commissioning engineer / Fire & Security Engineer who is looking to progress in their career. As a Fire & Security Engineer:
- Your role will be responsible for the Installation, Testing & Commissioning various fire alarm systems in mainly industrial and commercial premises, with occasional domestic properties.
- Completing installations and modification of Fire Detection Systems, to British Standards, efficiently, safely and to the highest standards.
- Complete small and larger installations as part of a team or on your own. Be readily available to support your colleagues where required.
Fire & Security Engineers must have:
A minimum of 5 years installation experience, working with a variety of Fire Alarm Systems including addressable and conventional systems across a range of manufacturers.
- Understanding of BS5839-1 and the latest update on the regulation is essential.
- Knowledge of (and adherence to) health and safety regulations.
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be willing to work away from home, throughout the UK, where required.
Fire & Security Engineers will receive:
- A competitive salary of £45,000 for Fire & Security Engineers
- Overtime opportunities at time and a half (weekends)
- Bonus for working away from home (overnight).
