🔧 Role Overview:
As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of fire detection and alarm systems at commercial and residential sites. You’ll work independently and as part of a supportive team to ensure our clients’ systems are always safe, compliant, and fully functional.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

Service, maintenance & fault-finding on fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional)

Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) visits

Respond to emergency call-outs and perform system diagnostics

Ensure systems meet BS5839 standards and other relevant regulations

Provide accurate service reports and communicate clearly with customers

Recommend upgrades and improvements when necessary
✅ What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in fire alarm servicing (2+ years preferred)

Good knowledge of BS5839 and related fire safety standards
-
FIA or equivalent fire alarm qualifications (preferred but not essential)
-
Full UK driving licence

Strong communication and customer service skills
-
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
