We are seeking qualified electricians / Fire Alarm Engineers with fire alarm installation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a background in Electrical & Fire Installations with a proven track record in commercial projects.
This Fire Alarm role will involve:
· Installing electrical and fire detection and associated systems, ensuring adherence to specified project requirements and British Standards. Maintaining continuous communication with the Project manager responsible for project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Hold qualifications of the understanding of BS5839. Time served qualified electricians with an understanding of the IET wiring regulations to BS7671 to 18th edition.
· Have ECS Gold card and/or an ECS Fire related (FESS) card.
· Proficient in installing a fire detection and alarm system in line with manufacturers' recommendations. Proficient in installing electrical systems in line with BS7671.
· Ensuring that installed drawings match the finished project and communicating any variances to the Project Manager. Fully testing every aspect of the systems installed.
· Demonstrating a logical approach to system fault diagnosis and rectification. Understanding different types of cable containment systems.
· Must have a full UK driving license with less than 6 points.
· Must have a clear DBS check.
· This role can involve working away & nights but this is paid extra.

Normal Hours of Employment are 7.00 am – 5.00 pm (Core Hours), Monday to Friday, where 1 hour may be taken for Rest.
28 Days holiday including bank holidays
