Salary: £49,000 – £58,500 per annum (DOE)

Location: Nationwide / UK-wide Projects - Regular staying away during the week

Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 10-hour days including travel and breaks

About the Role
A growing electrical contractor operating across the commercial and industrial sectors is looking for experienced Qualified Electricians to join its expanding team.
The business delivers electrical installation, maintenance, testing and associated services across a wide range of environments, including automotive, warehousing, retail, hospitality, healthcare and industrial facilities.

The role involves working on projects throughout the UK, ranging from reactive maintenance and smaller installation works through to large-scale commercial fit-outs, refurbishments and new installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation works in accordance with BS 7671 and current regulations
- Install containment systems, cabling, distribution boards, switchgear and final circuits
- Undertake planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works
- Assist with inspection, testing and commissioning activities where required
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical schematics
- Complete works safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard
- Maintain accurate and professional standards while working on client sites
- Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with site requirements
- Work independently or as part of a wider electrical team
- Represent the business professionally when working with clients and other contractors
Essential Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- AM2 qualification
- Current 18th Edition BS 7671
- Valid ECS Gold Card
- Demonstrable experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical installations
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, regulations and safe working practices
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
- Experience working within automotive, workshop or bodyshop environments
- Valid IPAF certification
- Valid PASMA certification
- Inspection and testing experience
- 2391 qualification, or currently working towards it

Working Pattern
Monday–Friday: 10-hour working day, inclusive of travel and breaks
