We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrician to join our team; the candidate will be employed through the CIS scheme but would consider full-time / permanent. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding and experience of installing multiple brands of EV Chargers and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are carried out safely and efficiently.
The Electrician role will include:
- Install, service and maintain EV chargers to domestic and commercial properties.
- Hours Mon-Fri with optional Saturday work available.
- Covering the South Wales and Southwest area.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs.
- Conducting electrical testing and certification of completed installs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards during work activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Delivering high-quality customer service on-site.
- Carry out site survey and conveyance as required.
We are keen to speak with Electricians with the following:
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field. Must be fully qualified.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
- Experience with both AC and DC charger installations.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
- A valid driving licence may be required for travel between job sites.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- 2391 or 2392 Inspection & Testing qualification
- Experience installing EV chargers (multiple brands preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
Basic Pay: £39,500.00-£45,000.00 per year plus bonus and overtime
