Electrical Qualified Supervisor – Cardiff (Off The Tools)

£45,000-£50,000+ Basic Salary | Monday–Friday - Immediate Start Available

We are working with a growing and forward-thinking electrical company based in Cardiff, who are looking for an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrician who wants to move away from day-to-day installation work and into a role focused on quality, compliance, technical support and team management.

The Role

As an Electrical Qualified Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring work is completed safely, correctly and to the required standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Signing off completed electrical / EV charging works

• Inspection, testing and certification

• Carrying out electrical surveys

• Conducting site audits and quality checks

• Supporting electricians with technical queries

• Providing technical guidance and mentoring

• Ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations

• Reviewing workmanship and identifying areas for improvement

• Supporting the management team with day-to-day operational duties

• Helping maintain high standards across projects and the wider electrical team

What We're Looking For

You must be a fully qualified electrician with:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation

• AM2

• 2391 Inspection & Testing

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Strong technical knowledge and a good understanding of electrical compliance

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

•  

This role would particularly suit an experienced electrician who is ready to come off the tools, take on more responsibility and progress into a supervisory/management position.
