We are keen to speak with experienced Administration/Accounts Assistants looking for a progressive role based in Yate, BS37 5NG. This is an exciting role to join a leading provider of Keyholding, Alarm Response, Manned Guarding & Monitoring Services across the UK. The busy Alarm Receiving & Remote Video Response Centre is located in Yate, where their highly experienced teamwork 24-hours a day, 365-days a year providing outstanding customer care and technical support to grow their customer base.
The role will involve liaising with customers, suppliers, and colleagues, supporting on accounts and providing admin/office support to the team and the Office in Yate. This is a hands on role to represent and support in raising our standing with colleagues and customers to help grow our objectives.
As a Administration/Accounts Assistant, you will be required to:
· Support on providing account activities
· Work with the finance team on credit control matters and chasing aged debt when needed
· Responsible for the presentation and maintenance of the Yate Office
· Support the leadership team in Yate to meet the demands of our customers
· To answer and direct internal and external phone calls in a polite and professional manner
· To write and distribute business emails, correspondence memos, letter, and forms
· To assist in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc scheduled reports
· To support and maintain an efficient filing system
· Using the company SimPRO database system to understand customer contacts (full training will be given)
· To comply with all other reasonable requests made
· Any other ad hoc projects/duties as required
We are keen to speak with Administration/Accounts Assistants with the following:
· Experience in transactional accounting processes/ systems
· Have exposure to SAGE systems
· Computer literate and proficient in other MS Office (Inc. Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint)
· Excellent administration and organizational skills
· Good attention to detail
· Excellent Customer Service skills – internal and external customers
· Good communication skills with a confident, professional telephone manner
· Proactive and flexible approach with a ‘can do’ attitude
· An ability to effectively work under pressure and problem solve
· Punctual, committed, and eager to learn.
